Avange Rd. FIre-Auto Aid To Woodstock

On January 3rd, 2008, Woodstock Fire/Rescue was dispatched to a reported structure fire. 

Due to the auto-aid agreement with Wonder Lake Fire Protection Dist., Wonder Lake was also dispatched

with an engine to assist. Upon arrival of WL 1623, Woodstock Command gave orders to back into driveway and supply water to the

Woodstock attack engine. Due to the rural setting, no hydrants were available. Water Tenders were brought in to

dump into a portable basket, where WL 1623 (featured far left) used front suction to draft the water and send to the attack engine. 

Other WL engine crew members were used to assist in fire suppression.
